About Mallorca Hiking

They are full-time residents of the island with local knowledge and contacts, so they can offer you an in-depth experience of the island, its walks and its culture. They are not interested in volume or "bums on seats". They take a very individual and personal interest in you, your interests, and what you want to do for the day. They don't like big groups, and they understand that many of their clients don't either, so their groups are small – max 8-10 people. They are passionate about Mallorca, about the outdoors and about walking, and they are equally passionate about sharing their knowledge and experience with you. Their tours are not just about hiking – they’re about Mallorca too!

They have something for everyone depending on where you're staying, what sort of walk you'd like to do, how fit you are and how much energy you have. Their walks vary from mountains, ridges, hills and valleys, beaches, coastal paths, pine forests, olive and citrus groves..... for more details take a look at Their Walks.

Whether you're looking for a group of walkers to join or something that’s tailor-made for you and your party, they can offer walks with a special interest or theme (see opposite) so that you’ll enjoy an especially broad and rich experience of the island.

Prices depend on the type of walk you choose, so please see Prices on their website.

To book a walk or ask any question please email or call them.

Mallorca Hiking Offers

GUIDED GROUP WALKS: for solos, couples and small groups, these are scheduled for specific dates. Please see the calendar on their website

You’ll find a list of walks including a brief description and photos on their website under Walks . The list is not exhaustive, and most routes have a number of different variations, so please don’t hesitate to contact them to discuss the possibilities.

GUIDED WALKING EXCURSIONS are scheduled every week on a Tuesday or Wednesday. Please see the calendar on their website

These are a full day's guided excursion with a Mallorcan theme or special interest (also see Special interest walks below), and they include a typical Mallorcan lunch and transport from the south west of the island. The emphasis of these excursions is as much on the theme as the walking, and the walking involved is easy.

TAILOR-MADE WALKS: for families, private groups, corporate clients, other events..

If there are 6+ people in your party this is the best value option, they can organize a day’s walking especially for you. All of their excursions and other activities are available as tailor-made outings, so your day can include a special interest (see below), a typical Mallorcan lunch, a boat trip, a balloon ride….  For ideas about other activities, take a look at their website.

SPECIAL INTEREST TOURS: for those of you with a particular interest, or an activity that you’d like to include in your day…Here are some examples (in no particular order!), and please bear in mind that some are seasonal:

Wines and vineyards

In recent year’s Mallorca’s wines have become increasingly popular and the island is now recognized for some excellent wines (see their blog). Many of the vineyards are small family businesses, operating from fabulous ancient fincas and rural estates, which are well worth seeing in their own right. They offer day itineraries that include a guided walk, as well as a guided tour around a fabulous vineyard, wine tasting and a traditional Mallorcan lunch… a very memorable Mallorcan experience.

Art and Architecture

They offer 2 fabulous walking tours, one in Palma and the other in Sóller that give you an excellent insight into the island’s art and architectural heritage.

Palma Excursion – Art & Architecture and Sóller Excursion – Art & Villages

Local cuisine and produce

Most of their walks can include a stop at a fabulous café or restaurant where you can sample Mallorca’s excellent local cuisine and the best local produce. Whether it’s a freshly squeezed orange juice in Sóller or a full lamb lunch in Alaro, these are sure to be one of the highlights of your day.

All local produce (olives, honey, mushrooms...) is celebrated with annual fairs and other local events, and at the right time of year these can be incorporated in your itinerary.

Other themes include:

- Fiestas, fairs and other local events

- Wild flowers and almond blossom

- Historic sites and geological features
