It all started in Madrid in 1846 when Enrique Loewe Roessberg, a German who had fallen in love with Spanish culture, partnered with the finest Madrilian leather artisans.
Loewe would soon become a status symbol among the local aristocracy and bourgeoisie. In the 1960s Loewe started its international expansion. That was also when the brand started exploring into the worlds of silk and ready-to-wear.
The House launched its first perfume, ‘L de Loewe’, in 1972 Today Loewe remains vibrant as with a mission, to propel the brand’s classical values into the future.
