Son Real
Son Real is situated 12 kilometres from Can Picafort and the name comes from the river that flows into sea. In 1991 the government of Mallorca declared this area as a Natural park as it has a large amount of flora and fauna.This beautiful protected coastal area is five kilometres long and has beautiful sand dunes which are thick with vegetation. There are also 2 local wetlands in the area which make it a great place for bird watching as there are a number of migratory birds and insects which live in the area.
It’s a lovely beach that is quiet even in the high of season. Getting there is easy you can park the car at Son Serra de Marina and walk the 200 meters down to the beach.
A great place to spend a relaxed day.
