Mallorca will be hosting the international Irontrimallorca on the 19th June. The 103 Irontrimallorca Olympic Double consists of a 3 km. swimming, 80 km. bike ride and to top it all off a 20 km run to finish the race. Competitors from across Europe will be taking their chances to see if they can be crowned Irontrimallorca103 winner.
The location for this great race has been set on the north coast of the island in Cala Millor, where the scenery and countryside is spectacular for such a race. With Cala Millor’s long bay and its crystal clear water it’s the perfect arena for the swimming event. While the cycling circuit allows the participants to enjoy the views of Sant Llorenç, Son Servera and Arta, as well as the surrounding countryside with its different terrains from high mountain roads to long plain straights. The end of the race culminates with a 20 km run which will take the contestants on circuit of the area around the Paseo de la Costa Cala Millor.
With a very international competitor line up this is sure to be a good race. If you’re not one of these adrenaline junkies, no problem but you should still get yourself along to the event and cheer on the competitors.
