CarnivalMake sure that you head on down to Palma de Mallorca on Sunday 6th March and check out the amazing floats that will parade around the city center. There will be approximately 113 floats that have been made and ornately decorated for the occasion, as well as people joining the parade in fancy costumes.

Carnival, also known as Darrers Dies (the last days), is a public celebration which is usually celebrated in the last days leading up to the start of lent and takes place 40 days before Easter.

There will be other celebrations happening across the island but Palma´s parade is always the largest.
