Save the Beach Concert

This Saturday 23rd July, Playa de Palma will come alive the some great bands performing at this great outdoor gig, all in the aid of Save The Beach.
Its a free event that will run from 9pm until 3am. Performing will be El Pescao and
La Musicalité.
Should be a great evening, head on down and enjoy the cool summer evening.

The concert will be held near the Palma Aquarium on the beach in Playa de Palma.

Some info re the bands performing;

El Pescao

El Pescao is the stage name of David Otero, who was born 17/4/1980 in Madrid.
Since he was little he´s been interested in music and he began playing guitar in the evenings after school in Madrid's parks and streets of Malasaña always accompanied by his guitar. Joined by his mates they started an authentic rock band.

1998  was a decisive year for David, as together with his cousin and guitarist Dani Martin they would embark on the adventures influenced by Spanish, American and English music from the 80's and 90's they started writing and performing great songs.

El Canto del Loco is without doubt one of the most important bands of the Spanish pop scene, with seven studio albums, several DVDs, and a movie, they have sold more than one million albums. Not forgetting several MTV awards and their tours.

The Musicalité

The Musicalité is a pop-rock group whose current lineup are, Jaime Perpiñá (vocals and bass), Oscar Nadal (keyboards), Marc Palmer (guitar), James Bou (drums). Musicalité signed a recording contract with Sony music.
In 2005 they recorded their first album, which sold over 15,000 copies. "Insomnia," was their second studio album and where they  tried to capture the energy from perfoming during their tours which were transmitted by their fans.
