Silent Dance at Nassau Beach
Nassau Beach in Palma de Mallorca are pleased to announce their end of summer 'Silent Dance' dinner event.
This is a unique opportunity to enjoy the exquisite food on offer at Nassau Beach Restaurant whilst experiencing the 'Tango Spell' performed under the stars with the breathtaking backdrop of the Mediterranean Sea.
The Tango Spell, choreographed by Laura Macias and written by Anthony Norton, has been described as a 'dance sensation' at the critically acclaimed Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and has been captivating audiences for years. The dance combines the electrifying passion of the tango with the captivating grace of classical ballet, uniting a passionate love story performed through a variety of dance styles rarely seen together.
The performance manages to be innovative whilst still resonating the classical ballet genre with exceptional music and choreographed direction.
Nassau Beach will be constructing a stage around the beach side of the restaurant, allowing those sitting indoors to look out at the performance, backlit by the cathedral, moonlight, beach and waves from the ocean.
There will be three performances throughout the course of the evening, occurring at 8:30pm, 9:30pm and 10:30pm. All music for these performances will be transmitted through headsets. When guests are seated at their tables they will each receive a headset which will receive the performance music. This allows for only those who attend and are seated in the restaurant to hear, whilst passers-by will see only the dance performed to a silent beat.
Nassau Beach's Silent Dance is an extraordinary opportunity to witness local artists performing in a setting that encompasses all the best Mallorca has to offer.
To attend this event, guests must book a table at Nassau Beach Restaurant. The kitchen will be serving the A La Carte menu and there is no additional charge for the performances.
Local Artists combine the passion of the tango with the grace of ballet all performed among the elements of nature.
