El Pasiego, C/ Golfo de Cadiz 6, Palma:- Found between Portixol and Ciudad Jardin,
2 minutes from the sea and close to the big chimney, this is a new place with a 10€
menu which includes bread and a drink. Trampo or Mallorcan soup, chuletas or calamares,
pears in wine were the choices one day this week.
Bruselas, Calle S’Estanc 4 Palma:- Just of the Borne, an Argentinean brasserie with
a very good value 12€ 3 course menu which includes bread and a drink, naturally good
meats but also pasta and fish options usually available
Bon Lloc, Sant Feliu 7, Palma:- Vegetarian restaurant, just of the Borne. A pleasant
and very popular restaurant with friendly and efficient service that will appeal
to everybody. 4 course menu with water and bread at 13.50€
Cecil, Calle Cecilo Metello
3, Palma:- Just off the top end of Miguel and close to Plaza Espana, this Swedish
influenced restaurant offers choices of 4 starters, 8 mains and 4 desserts. At only
10.50€ with wine and water this is a well presented eatery with good service and
English spoken. Mon - Fri
Garage Rex, Pablo Iglesias 12, Palma:- much better use for
this converted garage, serving one of the best Menus in Palma at around 12€ which
includes bread & dips, wine, beer or water. International/ Mediterranean, English
spoken.
Sibil-la, Calle Blanquerna 7, Palma:- A great new daytime restaurant, 5 minutes
from Plaza Espana with a good value menu at around 10€ including water and bread.
There is always a vegetarian option. Also a good coffee and pastry morning stop.

Premsa, Plaza Patines, Palma:- A great local restaurant that is also firmly on the
tourist must do list. 10.50€ gets you a 3 course typical Mallorcan menu with lots
of choices including paella for one. Mallorcan, English spoken.
Es Pes de La Palla,
Pl de La Palla, Palma:- excellent menu at around 10€ including bread and water.
Typical mallorcan dishes with a twist, great summer terrace. Get their early as it
is a popular spot. Just of the Avenidas in Palma near Passeig del Artesanes, nb.
service can be hit and miss sometimes
Afrikana, Dameto 17, Plaza Progresso, Palma:-
This unique restaurant has a good value and good tasting 10€ menu and is a must
if you want to try something other than Mallorcan food. As the name suggests the
food is from different regions of Africa. English spoken.
La Balanguera, Bisbe Maura 6, Palma :- A great local restaurant with a brasserie
feel. 10€ buys you 3 courses with bread, olives and a drink. Always a veggie and
fish option available. Just round the corner from Plaza Espana & El Corte Ingles.
Mallorcan
Es Raconet, C/r dels Moliners, San Miguel, Palma:- This star find has only
around 20 seats so get in early. 3 course menu at 12€ weekdays, 13€ Saturdays & 16€
on holidays includes bread, olives and wine. Mallorcan / Mediterranean
Mooncala, Avd
Joan Miro 305, San Agustin:- Fantastic terrace on the waters edge and a very creative
3 course fusion style menu with wine, water and bread for 13€, doesn’t make it the
cheapest but with the view and the quality of the food it is worth it.
S’Olivera, Bendinat Plaza:- Fernando and his team are highly efficient at this popular
eatery. Menu around 8.50€ or 10€ on a Saturday for 3 courses with bread olives, wine
and water. Good quality Mallorcan with an Italian edge, gets very busy at times.

Le Petit Bistrot, seafront, Palma Nova:- This French restaurant open all year on
the seafront is priced at around 10€ without drinks and makes a good change from
Mallorcan cuisine. English spoken.
Singlo, Plaza de Iglesia, Binissalem:- another great restaurant, always busy, serving
a 3 course 8€ lunch with bread, wine and olives plus a Sunday menu at around 12€.
Good quality Mallorcan/Mediterranean food. English spoken.
El Cruce, Villafranca,
on roundabout with dancing men between Manacor & Palma. Not so much a fixed price
menu as remarkable value typical Mallorcan truck stop. With around 20 main course
choices this cavernous restaurant should work out to around 10€ all in. Mallorcan
Bodega d’es Port, Teodoro Canet 8, Puerto de Alcudia:- A large and busy Bodega looking
out over the harbour with usually a choice of fish or meat with bread, ali-oli, olives
and wine at just 9.50€. English spoken.
La Casa Gallega:- a fresh feel to this restaurant in the middle of town. 3 course
menu at 10.80€ with bread, wine, water and olives. Found opposite the Little Britain
supermarket (almost).
Can Julia, Son Servera:- consistently one of the best for value
and quality with a pretty terrace in the summer. €7.00 buys you 3 courses of home
made food, with wine, water, olives, bread and ali-oli. Mallorcan
Il Faro, C/ Ciutat 23, Arta:- Great value at only 9.50€, this Italian restaurant
in the middle of the pretty main drag offers a quality 3 course menu with a drink
and an assortment of breads. Italian, English spoken.
La Valentina, C/Gloria 103,
Inca:- great little place in the middle of Inca with a good choice of 3 items on
each course at only 9.30€ including bread, water and wine.
Sart Cafe, Plaza del Angel,
Inca:- Exceptional value for top qaulity food at this new and slightly trendy restaurant
/ cafe in the middle of Inca.

Es Moli d’en Perons, C/es Molinar 51, Montuiri:- Great views at
this friendly restaurant. Choice of 2 starters, 2 mains and various desserts with
olives bread and water at 8.50€. Good quality original home cooked food. Open Mon
